We stayed at Disney in 2008 and purchased the no expiration date on our tickets. I have lost the receipt they gave me when I upgraded to no expiration date. Has anyone had problems with this service.
No one at Disney will help me. They tell me I have to go to guest services. I have no proof and can not imagine taking my five year old to the gate only to find out that the tickets show up invalid.
Has anyone purchased no expiration and then Disney said your tickets were expired?:surfweb:

I really don't see the issue in stopping at Guest Services.

A NO-EXPIRATION ticket means just that. I does NOT expire.

Hopefully, you will not have a problem. :goodvibes

I think you can call this # about "days left" on your tickets: 407-566-4985 option #5. Never tried it though.
They told us to be sure and make a copy of the receipt and ticket so I always carry a copy of our receipt with us every time we go, just in case.

As long as you have the tickets, it should not be a problem. The upgrade should have already been made on the actual tickets . I think they are just telling you to stop at Guest Services because you sound unsure, and that is where the tickets can be checked. I've purchased the upgrade in the past and haven't kept my receipt with me. I don't think you should have a problem.

I wouldn't anticipate any problems. I have no expire tickets from two years ago that i haven't used since we got an AP. I'm not stressing that they won't turn up valid when the time comes to use them. It will be ok.

So, you're just checking to see if the no expiration option got added to your tickets?

Or are you checking how many days you have left? If you're checking the days left my understanding is you do have to do that at guest services.

Are your tickets on a key to the kingdom card or an actual ticket?

let me know if the number works. I was told they no longer will tell you on the phone by other Disers

If you upgraded your tickets to no-expiration, they should have reissued the tickets at that point. Your tickets should say NO EXP or something like that on the back. Do they?

If your tickets were on your KTTW card, I'm not sure if it will be noted on the card so you can read it. If you have separate tickets, it should be written on the back.

If you call the NUMBER, not sure one posted is correct(thought it was option 2), they can tell you if the ticket is still valid, but will not tell you how many days are left. For that you have to go to a park GS.

So to the OP if you call the number they should be able to tell you if the tickets are still valid. The only way for that to happen on an already used ticket is if you added NE.

Be sure to ask if they are still valid not how many days are left. As soon as you ask days they will most likely just say sorry and not ask if you really just wanted to know if they are valid.

Hopefully Cheshire Figment can post the correct number.

There used to be a special phone number which you could (c)all. It appears to be no longer available. If you are able to contact the Ticketing Office, the only information they will be able to give you is if the ticket is valid or not, they cannot tell you what remains.

I have something that looks like a credit card. We stayed at CBR and it was our everything card. They gave me a receipt when I added the no exp option at the resort, but I can not find it. I do not have a paper receipt or ticket.
I'm concerned because while we were there we had problems with the card/ticket.
I really want to kick myself for loosing the receipt.
I don't want to show up and then have stress. It is not in the budget to buy more tickets.

I left a message with the billing archives.

1- Those cards usually ARE your tickets.
2- No need for the receipt, and again, (unless they issued you separate "paper" tickets at that time)
the room key-cards contain your still-valid tickets. (And, they can be used at the gates, as-is.)
3- Can't help you there.
4- You'll need to be able to read them the NUMBERS on your card(s) for them to check their records.

HOWEVER- Since these were tied into a resort stay,
they will have all of your records for that trip in the computer.
If you added Non-Expire to your package tickets... they'll have the record of it.

I doubt that this will be an irreparable problem.
And may simply be worry for no reason.

(Relax... you're going to WDW!!)

I was going to say with the Key to the World card it is atleast linked to your previous stay, so they can go back in and look at what you did.

However, since they recently changed reservation systems I'm not sure any of that info is still around.

I would bet that if you know they added the no-expiration option you'll be fine. I would recommend going to guest services and having them issue you a real ticket rather than the KTTW card.

did you pay with a credit card? If so see if you can get a copy of your charges from that month/year

Write to the resort to see if they can confirm that your tickets have the non-expiration on them. The records are kept only so long (one year?)a fter your last stay so if your next vacation is further off in the future you don't want to wait that long before confirming.

They will not tell you how many days you have left on your ticket, but they are supposed to be able to tell you that your ticket is still active...have you tried just asking them that?

Thank you everyone, I really hope I am concerned and it ends up being no problem.
They wouldn't even tell me if they were still active on the phone.
I called the resort and left a message and also left a message for billing archive department.

When I upgraded my tickets that were on my KTTW card, they gave me the paper and told me not to lose it. They said if I did not have the receipt and the tickets weren't reading like they should, I would be out of luck. They gav eme 2 copies of it so I could file it away in two different places.

I think you'll just ahve to take your KTTW cards and hope for the best.

On my grandson's first trip a couple years ago I upgraded his 1 day free dining ticket to a 7 day hopper/water park/disneyquest. The rest of us already had AP w/WPM. Departure day he still had 2 days ticket/park hopper with 4 WPM left, so I added the no expiring at MK before we left. They just gave me a receipt with the remaining items handwritten on it & he kept his same KTTW card. His next trip I upgraded one of my free dining tickets for him to have an AP (no WPM), since he loves DisneyQuest we used one of the days from the no expire ticket for that. This last trip I couldn't really remember what he had left on that card so I just took it to guest relations & they told me. Long story short we didn't get anything but a receipt where I added the NE, CM didn't say anything about not to lose the paper. It's been a couple years but I still have it checked everytime we go.
