HELP! Prepaid Visa Card

I received a $500 prepaid visa card a couple months ago after I joined DVC. I was planning on using it towards our park passes for our upcoming vacation (which we leave for early on Thursday morning). I thought that I would just have to call to activate it and it would be simple.

Well I didn't realize that I received a pin number in the mail and used a couple different pin numbers that I use for other things. After looking online, I realized I should have received a pin number in the mail, and found the pin number with the rest of my DVC documents. I went online to activate it, but it said that I had exceeded my pin tries. I tried calling the number again, and it also wouldn't work.

I then called the 1-407-566-3877 number that's listed on the letter that holds the pin number. I figured it was a hotline but apparently it's one person's number and the voicemail says she is out from Monday May 25 until Monday June 8. The voicemail mentioned another number to call, but even that goes straight to voicemail.

Does anyone know what I can do? I need to get this activated before Thursday morning and I don't know what else to do. Please help!
 
Is there a number listed on the back of the card to try?

Also, try calling tomorrow. you are probably getting the other person's vm because it is after normal business hours on the East Coast.
 
Yes, I tried the customer service number on the back. They give a customer service number and a website to activate the card. I've tried both multiple times and neither are working since I've exceeded my pin tries. The phone number is automated and I was hoping there was some way to talk to an actual person, but I don't think there is.

I've run out of ideas and I don't know how to get this activated. I need to activate it either today or tomorrow.

SOmething similar happened to us...we got a $200 gift card for doing a referral...and I didn't read the accompanying documents, so had no idea I had to call to activate it...and of course it didn't work when I tried to use it to pay for our dining plan when we checked in...

I got very upset (having not read the documents, I didn't know I'd failed to activate the card and so thought it was defective)...the front desk CM sent me to the DVC kiosk CM (this was in SSR's lobby), and he "worked Disney magic" (his words) and got it fixed for me.

Have no clue what he did (other than use the phone)...but whatever it was, it activated the card which I then used to pay for my DDP...took about 5 minutes...

So...when you arrive, tell the person you buy your tix from that the card needs to be activated and you lost the pin number...that person may send you to the DVC kiosk...so you may want to start there...but the Disney folks will fix it for you!

Well I'm going to try again tomorrow calling the customer service number. Hopefully it's automated after business hours and has live assistance 9-5. If not, I hope I can get Disney to help me once I get there! Thanks!
 
Since it was part of your incentive when you bought DVC, have you tried contacting your guide? Maybe he/she has a number of someone who can help you.
