Help! Possible last minute WDW Trip

Here's the scoop... I have over two weeks until I start my new job, and DH's contract job has just ended. We've been stressed, and now find ourselves with some time on our hands.
A week ago, I found airfare for $354 for both of us, but now it's about $525. (I didn't know when my start date would be, so I didn't book anything). We can go anytime... leaving as early as this weekend, and we have to be back home by Sat. Feb 25th
Would you do it? We don't have kids, so that part is easy. We could drive and save ourselves $300...
Are there any good deals right now? I found AKL for $199/night and that's about it. I like the mods and deluxes.
What about the crowds? Is President's Day crowded?

We've never been in Feb... help!!
Anyone know of last-minute deals?

I hope you get some good ideas. As far as going - GO! Who knows when you'll have the time to go later, and the weather won't be all hot & humid! Have fun!

I'd go. If you're looking to save some $$, think of looking into a Value resort.

I would think you could get a moderate for around $100 per night (I don't know what the non resident rate would be, maybe $125 or so)
If you want to stay off property, yet still be close there are a bunch of hotels on Palm Parkway that are very nice and reasonable priced to beat.
The crowds are usually light until Presidents Day week and then they will pick up.
