My fiance and I are going on the 3 day land and 4 day sea package, we also added on 4 days onto the beginning of the land portion of the trip. We will be staying at the AKL and specifically told our travel agent that we wanted a savannah view room. When we got the confirmation from disney it says STANDARD room...Does anyone know if it is possible to change this to a savannah view room???? And are some of the standard views of the savannah???

This is so confusing, next time I do everything myself and not go through a travel agent....:smooth:

call you TA and tell them your story- she should be able to make that change for you. The problem may be in the category you booked for the cruise. You may have to pay an "upgrade fee" but I would think it would be reasonable. Good luck

Since you have to be in a veranda cabin to be placed in AKL during the land portion of the land/sea, I am assuming the info I got from my TA applies to you as well. I told her we needed a savana view at AKL and would pay for an upgrade if that was necessary. She spoke with Disney and they said the savana view is automatic when you do the land/sea. I haven't gotten Disney docs yet, but when I got her itinerary, there was no mention of the type of room we had. She told me the info from Disney does say savana, and when she sends us our final docs, that will be mentioned. Also, there are two types of savana view rooms at AKL, standard and deluxe, so you may very well be assigned a standard savana view. Maybe call your TA to verify this.
