I voted other.

Two weeks with a car, an AP, breakfast in the room, a slow morning start, lots of resort time and early evenings ... I would save my money and stay offsite at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. You’ll get more room, a full kitchen, and a much nicer pool area. You’ll have a car and an AP so you’ll be able to get to the parks easily and park for free. You won’t miss EMH because you’re taking it slow. You will save a boatload of money and everything will be better except for being 100% in the Disney bubble.

Trying to speak from experience because we took our twins to Disney many times when they were under age 3. In looking back and knowing things I'd do differently, I voted for "other." The first resort we fell in love with when our twins were 13 months old was the Contemporary. The ability to walk to MK was priceless, and Chef Mickeys was our favorite restaurant, so it was a no brainer for us. I'd price out the standard wing room just to compare with what you have. Maybe even do a week at AoA and a week at CR.

At age 2 1/2 why can't she sleep in a bed? How long do plan on keeping her in a crib?

I do think that 2.5 is a good time for a switch. My son is the same age and we switched him to a toddler bed primarily so that he could get out if he needs the potty in the middle of the night. I didn’t want him to have to stand there and yell for me. He just comes and gets me if he needs the bathroom in the middle of the night. Although I’m fairly certain he’d be able to climb out of the crib by now. It was nice the last time we took a trip not having to worry about a crib.

When he was 18 months last year, we rented a crib from Kingdom Strollers and it was great. We drove too, but didn’t have room for a portable crib in our car. If you want to keep her in a crib, I’d actually recommend renting a full size one as it will be most similar to what she’s accustomed to at home.

Honestly, my recommendation would be to ditch the crib and stick her in a regular bed, and keep the room at Pop. But if you really want to use a crib, get the suite. I think you’ll go crazy in a Pop room on a trip so long with a crib in there. We stayed at WL for 5 nights and it was fine, but a little tight with the crib.

Whether or not you do the crib is up to you, but I vote 100% for any suite where you have your own, separate bedroom. Whenever we have travelled with our kids (who are still very young), we have had our own room. That way, once they are in bed, you can watch TV, use your master bathroom, etc. Also, some suites have a balcony attached to the master. We don't sleep in the same room at home, so why do it on vacation?

I know it's expensive, but maybe a split stay w/AoA and a 1-bedroom villa? We love having a washer/dryer in our room, and the villas have a lot more space. Either that, or maybe offsite considering the length of your stay.

Obsessions over movies with 2.5 year olds don’t tend to stick for a long time....she could be well over Finding Dory by the time your trip happens!

My daughter has special needs and can not sleep in a bed yet. I do plan on switching her to a bed when I move next summer. She loves her crib and has sensory processing issues and she finds her crib safe and soothing. This is why I have not switched her to a bed yet.

I would stick with your original plan then. I think the Nemo suite will be great and you'll appreciate the extra room. If it's really a financial burden I might look at offsite, but it sounds like you already budgeted for the cost. If you can afford it sometimes it's better to spend the money on what you really want then spend less money on something you don't want.

15-16 nights is a long trip.

I could do it in any of the rooms you listed but realize not all can. My kids could sleep anywhere, in anything (once pushed two chairs together to make a bed for DD) with zero issues.

If it's not a huge financial hurt, I'd just stick with AoA.

'I think this is more reason to stick to AoA. YOu have already chosen for her and it seems like this is the best place to enjoy a Dsney trip that entails a long hotel stay. One room, no matter how many amenities the hotel offers, is going to crash in on you if you know you need to keep a crib in place.

Enjoy the trip!

I would try to keep her sleeping arrangements similar to home, so rent a crib. My son has sensory processing and sleep issues too. When we were at Disney he slept fine on the AoA pull down bed because he loved Mater so much! She may surprise you!
