At age 2 1/2 why can't she sleep in a bed? How long do plan on keeping her in a crib?

I don't care. iIt would make straveling easier if she just slept in a bed.Who cares what their reason is? That's their business.

Yeah for a little while longer. Probably not 358 days longer. But I bet it makes their lives a heck of a lot easier while home the other 358 days a year.![]()

My daughter has special needs and can not sleep in a bed yet. I do plan on switching her to a bed when I move next summer. She loves her crib and has sensory processing issues and she finds her crib safe and soothing. This is why I have not switched her to a bed yet.At age 2 1/2 why can't she sleep in a bed? I do think that 2.5 is a good time for a switch. My son is the same age and we switched him to a toddler bed primarily so that he could get out if he needs the potty in the middle of the night. I didn’t want him to have to stand there and yell for me. He just comes and gets me if he needs the bathroom in the middle of the night. Although I’m fairly certain he’d be able to climb out of the crib by now. It was nice the last time we took a trip not having to worry about a crib.
When he was 18 months last year, we rented a crib from Kingdom Strollers and it was great. We drove too, but didn’t have room for a portable crib in our car. If you want to keep her in a crib, I’d actually recommend renting a full size one as it will be most similar to what she’s accustomed to at home.
Honestly, my recommendation would be to ditch the crib and stick her in a regular bed, and keep the room at Pop. But if you really want to use a crib, get the suite. I think you’ll go crazy in a Pop room on a trip so long with a crib in there. We stayed at WL for 5 nights and it was fine, but a little tight with the crib.
I would stick with your original plan then. I think the Nemo suite will be great and you'll appreciate the extra room. If it's really a financial burden I might look at offsite, but it sounds like you already budgeted for the cost. If you can afford it sometimes it's better to spend the money on what you really want then spend less money on something you don't want.My daughter has special needs and can not sleep in a bed yet.
