Help please Preferred view @ Riverside

Just was able to add a one night stay at Riverside before our stay at Poly. We just have a perfereed view looking for help to request a good room location.

Being Preferred, you are going to be close to the Lobby, Food Court, Main Feature Pool, etc. Something to consider is that the Preferred Rooms are all in the Alligator Bayou Section and all buildings in Alligator Bayou are only 2 floors so there are no elevators. Some people with mobility issues, strollers, etc like to request ground floor. We like the corner rooms because they have a second window which when the drapes are opened lets in more natural light and also makes the room feel larger. It all depends on what you want/like in a room location.

Um, dansdad meant that all Preferred rooms are in the Alligator Bayou section!!!!

Anyway, Preferred refers to location, not view. All room doors open onto public-use walkways. It's unlikely you are going to stand at your window, staring across the walkway and beyond any passersby, to base at the landscaping .

We also like having the drapes open during the day time, it brightens up the room soooo much and I have no issues with the occasional person walking by. I also like sitting at the table by the window looking out at the view, so even at the Mods/Values a view is still somewhat important for us. Of course now they're getting rid of all the tables with these new refurbs
