Help please- magic band question

I am on a beach vacation and going to Disney in a few days at then end of our trip. We have annual passes but I left those bands at home I have the new magic bands for my room only resie- but not my bands with the AP on them. Will the AP be connected to new band automatically or do I have to go to guest svc? So mad at myself!

If the room reservation is linked to each person's MDE then you are fine. Your MB doesn't store your AP it is just linked to your MDE account which stores all that information.

Just note you won't get your AP discount on merchandise and food if you don't have your AP cards.

Nothing is stored on the magic bands. you can used your bands interchangeably.

If you were using your previous band to enter the parks, then any other band on your profile (that hasn't been deactivated specifically and purposely by you) will access the AP info that you accessed with the "AP band".

The only bands I have are the new ones for the room only bands. I don't have any of the old bands with me.

You can log in to your account from any website (Disney.com) and add the new band to your MDE account if you prefer / makes you feel better. There is a little number on the back that you type in. the MDE band is basically just that number and all your information is linked to your account.

Or guest relations can do that for you.
