My sister and my family are comming to Disney there will be nine of us. I NEED suggestions for costumes for MNNSHP!!!!!!! ALL contributions will be GREATLY APPRECIATED........

Snow White and the 7 dwarfs with the wicked witch thrown in to make 9. The dwarfs could cover a variety of ages.

I am not really a creative person, so I know you will get much better ideas from the other great DISers!

Good luck, have fun!

Oh, sweet Tink, I didn't even think about costumes... We're going the last week of October, have tickets, and I haven't even THOUGHT about costumes for myself and hubby...

characters from Peter Pan are also good for a large group: PP, Wendy, Hook, Princess Tiger Lily, the Darling Boys, Tink, Smee, any of the Lost Boys

Toy Story or Pinocchio characters also good for a group.

Or get a bunch of Stitch ears, and make tshirts that say 625, 624, 623, etc...that would be easy for how soon you are going.

We're doing Alice in Wonderland with DH and I just being playing cards while DD gets a more elaborate costume - that would be easy at the last minute for a large group.

Mouseketeers from the 50s.

We've been joking that someone should dress up as Marvel characters then put a big "SOLD" sign across the chest of the costume.

Good luck and let us know what you decide!

I know it isn't Disney but you could go for Dr. Seuss: Cat in the Hat & lots of things......

Dalmations could also be done for a large group.

This is a good one. My son was a dalmation for halloween when he was little.
I bought him a white sweat shirt & pants, and at Michael's I found felt with adhesive on the back. I just cut out "spots" and attached them to his sweats.
If you do this you can also pick up inexpensive collars to wear.

My son and I were at WDW last year this time for MNSSHP and I have to tell you it is HOT and HUMID this time of the year. We left our costumes in the room and wore Halloween tees instead. The night we went to the MNSSHP was soo hot even when the sun went down. I say whatever you wear, remember it may be 90 degrees and you will want to be comfortable.pirate:

I just returned home today and my suggestion... Something that we be cool to wear the weather was very hot and humid. Plus the local weather man said this morning that over the next couple days to expect lots of wet weather to move in and severe T-storms.

I know you already went on your trip but I wanted to share our idea for MNSSHP group costume. Someone mentioned Snow White and Seven Dwarfs and that is what we are doing.

Hubby is Grumpy (duh) (red t-shirt)
I am Happy (opposite of hubby duh!) (yellow t-shirt)
DD is Sneezy (she sneezes at least 3times in a row) (orange t-shirt)
DD is Snow White (have a light weight costume for her)
BFF is Sleepy ( she is a nurse) (aqua t-shirt)
BFF DH is Doc (smart man with round belly) (blue t-shirt)
BFF DD is Bashful (shy girl) (purple t-shirt)
BFF DS is Dopey (cute baby boy) (lt green t-shirt)

We will be wearing different colored t-shirts with names in fabric marker on the front and tan shorts or pants. Then making "accessories" for each dwarf like - Doc has glasses, Sleepy has dark circle under eyes, rosy cheeks for Bashful, Purple cap for Dopey, etc.
We might add a belt and fake tools, white beards, stuff our t-shirts and caps.

Last year, DH was Jack Sparrow and he lasted 3 hours in his FULL costume before the heat consumed him. So I suggest wearing something light weight!

We are going to Disney in just a couple of weeks. We have a group of going and did try to come up with some cute ideas however, we have gone for the last couple of years and I agree you need to think comfort. We are all wearing oragnge t shirts with a different villian on them that says "i dont do costumes" This is fun yet very very comfortable. The CREATIVE DISIGN forum is a great resource. That is where all of the disigns we used came from. Have a great time!!

One year DD went as Tink and we went as pirates from Cpt Hooks crew. The Pirate costumes were simple. Dollar store swords, eye patch, bandanas, etc. DH didn't shave and I wore a lot of black eye make-up. DD costume cost me a fortune (cause she had to have every accessory it came with:rolleyes::laughing:) but ours were super cheap. Yu could add Peter, Wendy (a simple blue nightgown), Tigger Lilly, etc.

If you didn't want to do Peter Pan themed, you could do Pirates of the Caribbean as well. :thumbsup2

Have fun! We love the Halloween Party and do it every year we go!:yay:
