Hello,

I have the following ADRs for dinner:

Turf Club
Kona
Wave
Yak/Yeti
Wolfgang Pucks Cafe
Ohana
Mama Melrose

Were thinking about going to the Cape May Clab bake instead of one of the above. Any suggestions if we should go to the clam bake and which ADR I should cancel and repalce it with?

Thanks!

Yak and Yeti for it.

This is my favorite all you can eat place in Disney.

Cape May is one of our favs also. I have never been to Yak and Yeti but.. sounds good to me...

wow, I like Cape May, but I also like your other choices! How's your transportation options since Cape May is not in a park? I guess it's close to Epcot, but does it work well with your park schedule so you don't waste a lot of time leaving a park, getting to Cape May & back? If you were going to Epcot that day, then it would work.

I guess if faced with either/or to fit in Cape May, I'd cancel either 'Ohana or Yak & Yeti, since basically they are both Asian-type foods (well, Polynesian & Asian)

I was not impressed by my meal at Cape May last Sept... found the choices Blah, clam chowder almost inedible it was so salty and desserts ho hum. I'd skip it... but if you do need to drop one I'd drop Mama Melrose. Yak and Yeti is FABULOUS! One of our best meals last year!:goodvibes

Thanks for the info. we are staying at the AKL. We will be at one of the parks in the morning to early afternoon and then head back to the room for a little rest for my 3yo daughter before heading back out to dinner. how hard is it to get to Cape May from AKL for dinner and then head to a park for a while after dinner?

Thanks.

using Disney bus - take bus from your resort to Epcot, walk through Epcot towards Great Britain in World Showcase & keep walking to the bridge that exits Epcot at the International Gateway...keep on walking to Beach Club (first resort on your right as you exit Epcot there.) After eating at Beach club, walk back to Epcot World Showcase through the International Gateway.

If you're driving...drive to Beach Club. Valet park for about $12. Eat, & then walk over to World Showcase via the International Gateway. Have fun, when park closes, walk back over to Beach Club. Have valet guy bring you your car (really nice at the end of a long day to not hike all over to get your car...well worth the $12 + couple dollars tip.) If you don't want to pay for valet parking, you can self-park your car at Beach Club: they will give you a 3 hour permit to put in your window (so you won't get towed.) As long as you're back to your car within 3 hours you're o.k.

Thanks for everyones input. We cancelled out mama Melrose and got Cape May for the same day we are going to Epcot. Thanks for the suggestions on the transporation options.

OK....I have switched out Mama Melrose for Cape May for dinner. Now I am having second thoughts.....We do not have Boma in for a dinner ressie..vote....should I got o Boma for dinner or Cape May??

If you haven't been to the Lodge yet, this is a great place to visit. We always walk around outside watching the animals and sometimes we sit by the fire pit, etc. There are some nice paintings and sculptures inside, too. This place makes for great picture taking, as well. However, the food lately at Boma's is not up to par from previous years for us.

I feel Boma is not as good as it was two years ago. They have cheapened it somewhat. It's still okay. You have to be willing to experiment with different foods to really get the most fun from this place which we like to do. I don't feel Cape May has been cheapened yet. I like ribs and shrimp; so, for me it's Cape May all the way. Also, I feel it's easier to travel to Cape May especially if you want to go back to the parks.

You won't go wrong with either place; it's just a matter of what your taste buds desire.

If you're staying at AKL, then you have to go to Boma. I'd swap it with Yak & Yeti because you'd likely have to eat early at Y&Y (since AK often closes early), whereas you could choose to eat any time at Boma.

Another easy transportation option for Cape May Cafe (which I like a lot) is to take the boat from DHS if you're planning a day there. I have my CMC ADR on our DHS day. After dinner there, I want to try and make the second showing of Fantasmic (DHS PM EMH).
