ok..I need help. I am feeling overwhelmed. Sat down this am to work on our RideMax plans and I have no clue!
I printed out all the shows and parades so to add those in.
What I am stumped on is how much I can realistically get sone each day.
It will be me, DH, 3 kids (all who are used to walking and going going going) and my mom who will be in a electric wheelchair/scooter thing. I am not sure how much my mom's will hold things up given the wheelchair and crowds. She likely won't be doing many if any rides so there is not much issue there.

We have a total of 3 days b/t the 2 parks. I am not sure how to divide things up. We are there for 1 MM, which is our second day. Also on the first day we have Fantasmic premium seating. I would really like to start the trip at Disneyland and do that most if not all of the first day and possible the am of the second given we have early entry for MM.

Any suggestions as to how many rides to set up for each day? DH and I are willing to be runners for FP.

Also if I am going to break up the rides over 2 days am I better to do all the rides in one area at a time..ie: all the rides in Fantasyland at once?
Any suggestions woud be great! Thank you!

The Ridemax software is pretty good at letting you know if you have too much planned or not. The real question is, how fast will your party move with a motorized wheelchair in your group? I have no experience with this, so I can't answer. However there is an option on Ridemax to say that your party moves slowly.

I would say put in the 'slow moving' and 'Fastpass runner' options on Ridemax, schedule your breaks for parades/shows/meals and then tell it what you want to do. It will wil you know if you've planned too much.

I can only schedule 2 breaks though..right?

Am i better off to do one whole area at a time or on a certain day?

With the downloaded software I was only able to schedule 2 breaks. But with the Web version I was able to schedule as many breaks as I wanted.

Doing an area at a time versus moving back and forth is personal preference, IMHO. Of course, if you're up early and planing to do DCA that day, it makes sense to go to DL for at least an hour or so, before DCA opens.

Here is the straight scoop!

The best way to tour DL and DCA is to park hop. RM does not support that in a direct way. So you need to make RM plans that are flexible. Do not let your RM plans drive your experience. Let RM enhance it in that it gives you a good game plan.

The RM tips that I was reading said that if you were planning on park-hopping between the two parks, the best way to use their software is to determine what you are wanting to do in DL that day (they recommend 10-12 attractions but that may vary depending on your pace and the rides selected), and then during the very large afternoon break you can make a RM plan for DCA.

When I tried this strategy out in RM, it gave me a large break from about 9:30am - 10:00 pm. Planning on wanting to take an afternoon break as well as watch the fireworks that night, I put in a DCA plan that only lasted a few hours from about 10 - 1, and then take a break for a few hours at the hotel and return in the early evening to ride a couple of rides (we should have a few unused baby swap passes from earlier in the day) and the stake out a spot and watch the fireworks before finishing out plan out in the evening.

It seems like the plan works fairly well, though in my situation I have to do some manual tweaking to the plan because we have to incorporate baby swap into it (going w/ a 7 month old). My DL ride portion has 10 rides, but I had to adjust it to incorporate 5 more rides involving baby swap (2x splash mountain, 1x BTMRR, and 1x Indiana Jones).
