Going back to WDW again this year and found this board. Never really planned anything out other going here and there on this day. Would love help in planning out our strategy. There will be 3 adults, a 7 year old(7th trip for him), and a 20month old(this is her 3rd trip). We are staying at the CBR from Oct 13th thru the 21st. We will be going to Busch Gardens , and Islands of Adventure & Universal Studios on two or 3 of the days. Also we are driving so the 21st we will end up driving home and that being a last minute shop day. We will arrive about 10am on the 13th. We also have tickets for the MNSSHP on the 16th. We went to this last year, but missed out on so much. So any help, tips, strategies would be greatly appreciated. We like to ride the rides, but love to take pictures mostly with the characters. Thanks so much.

Well, not to come on too strong, but you really need to get your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) made as soon as possible. Just get your little group together with a WDW guide book of some kind to find out about where you might want to eat. Since you've been there so many times, you might already have some ideas.

Speaking of guide books, check out your local library for some help. Hey, it's free and it's what us librarians live for.

You've already got the really big decision made. You're staying at the CBR. It's a totally fun place for the whole family. It's one of my family's favorites. Gotta love that caribbean theme music! :cool1:

Welcome to the DIS, wizardsqueen.

You will find LOTS of info on the DIS boards, make sure to check out a number of the planning forums available, including the non-Disney ones for the other parks.

You might also check the Tour Guide Mike planning site, I think it is great. Click on the banner at the top of this forum, a small discount is available.

Enjoy the trip.

Thanks for the adr advice, already had that planned. Should have made my post a little plainer after I have reread it.
I guess I mainly need help with how to plan out all the character greetings and then intermix the rides and the shows in between. Do you split the parks or devote 1 park per day.
Thanks in advance for help with this. Just trying to avoid some whining and missed stuff.

My family usually park hops. As to the character greetings, we do them as we find them. Or, we book the character meals. Good times! :cool1:
