help - once booked can u chg dates

we are looking to get married in december and booked our wedding on a monday at the wilderness lodge with 8 guests, but now my fiance wants to add more guests and his family can only make it on a saturday - after booking it do they let you change dates or a different wedding ceremony site??

From what I understand intimate weddings can only be held Monday through Thursday. I do know you can add guests at least a few weeks before the wedding, at an additional cost usually.

I just booked my wedding yesterday for this Sept and it is an intimate at WL. I don't know about changing dates but they did offer me saturday but said they didnt do it on sun. If the date is available I would think they would let you change it as they told me the cancleation was at least 4 weeks ahead of time and you have planty of time so I would call right away and find out.

from my understanding an intimate package includes upto 12 guests (including you & your groom) but you can add 3 guests for $100/each for a total of 15 guests. as for the days disney ftw list monday-thursday for intimate weddings only, not the weekends or fridays. i would definetly call your em asap about changing the date or location. not sure if they allow date changes with out some sort of fee or deposit loss. fyi - you would have to switch to a custom wedding if you have over 12 or 15 guests, plus disney ftw now has a minimum of $10,000 for a custom weddings.
