Help on transportation from airport?

Who would you use to get from the airport to your hotel?... I see FL tours is on the board alot and so is tiffany town car... does it matter.... can we go a cheaper way...?.... I always rented a car so not sure who to use...

FL tours is a sponsor of the boards, but I have found that they are a bit more expensive that Tiffany, and they do not accept credit cards.
Both companies have gotten alot of good reviews lately.

I've used Tiffany and FL tours many times. No problem recommending either to you. If the credit card is an issue then go Tiffany, we just planned ahead and brought the cash.

You might also ask this on the Transport board...

When using cash for Round Trip how do you pay for that?? Do you give your driver the full amount and it gets noted???

Yes, I think you do. I'm using Florida town car for the first time and they said I will have the same driver both coming and going.

I used FL Tours in April, paid the driver after arriving at the hotel, but did not have the same driver for the return trip. Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience with them. The driver was not at the airport when we arrived, and my young DD and I walked around carrying our suitcases looking for our name on a sign. Luckily, I had borrowed my aunt's cell phone and I called. They located the driver, but I had to follow their directions to find the place where I could meet him outside by the curb. He did apologize, but he was not very personable, and he didn't talk to us during the ride. Considering that I paid $110 on a teacher's salary in order to make my trip a little easier, I was pretty disappointed! However, the driver on the return trip was a bit more talkative and friendly.

We had a great experience with FL Tours in April.. Our dirver was there and waiting and while lots of others were waiting for luggage, and shuttles and rental cars at midnight we were on our way to our hotel in a clean, air conditioned town car..

For our return trip we were picked up in a van (we didn't request this as there were only 3 of us) with Finding Nemo on... DD loved it!

Town Car is the way to go! It was worth every penny! (DH said he would never do it any other way!)

We've used Tiffany Town Cars several times and have had good luck. Personble drivers, no problems with stopping at grocery stores to stock up... Would recommend them no problem.

Well, I can see it's people's preference here... Um... Thank you. I was leaning more towards Tiffany but my hubby made the reservation... He saw FL tours advertised on the board so he called them. we really just need them from the airport to the hotel.... We are doing the cruise and got the transfers through Disney... (that is another thing I would have changed)... I heard from alot of people we should have taken the car... Oh well -- I guess next time!
