I was just wondering if any-one had any advice on renting a villa in Orlando for a month.

I have had a look at some of the recent links and posts re: reting villas, but was wonding if there were any key times to book or bargains to be had for renting for a month??

We were thinking of doing this in 2011 so that we have plenty of time to save and plan.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks :)

Hello

We are hoping to do the same - hiring a villa for a month in August 2010 - so if we come across anything which we think will be of help I will pass it on.

I understand that there is always lots of villas available so it is best to book flights first.

Also I have noticed whilst browsing that many villa descriptions offer 'discount for stays of more than 2 weeks'

We have booked villas for 3 week stays on a number of occassions, so don't see that an extra week is much of a stretch.
Up to now we have never been offered any discount for a 3 week stay, but that's not to say you won't find someone willing to offer you one. The other thing to remember is that for that length of stay you may need a cleaner to come in a couple of times and that will cost extra.
All of the villas we have stayed at, and most of them on our shortlist for future visits, have always quoted per week but I wish you luck in your search.
