Help on finding the best lightweight stroller!

The Value City near me had the Chicco London for only $59. I thought that was a pretty good value. Might be worth a trip there to look if you've got one near you.

We just returned from Disney with our 5 year old and 21 months old.

I had purchased a Kindergo Umbrella Stroller - It was fabulous.

Made of Aluminum and therefore light, it had a basket, a rain cover and a head cover, as well it reclined into three different positions. When folded it had a shoulder strap to carry with and a 5 point harness - my daughter likes to climb. The mesh basket was big enought to hold a small soft cooler with the days snacks and juice boxes in it. It was the best stroller for travelling I ever bought. Also it is nice and high and even my 6 foot 4 inch husband was able to push it comfortably. It also had a mechanism where you could change the length of the seat making the longer seat and extended leg room more comfortable for sleeping.

On the airplane we were able to put in the overhead compartment without issue and my 5 year old was able to push the stroller with ease - it handled great.

We are using it again next year when we go.

The stroller was purchased in Toronto and I paid 120.00 CDN for it - a lot for an umbrella stroller - but in my opinion very worth it.

Best of luck

I did a search for the stroller you wrote about, but could not find anything. Any idea of a website where I may be able to find it?
Thanks

Good to hear! I just bought the Chicco Caddy yesterday. I am hoping that it will be a durable stroller for some time to come. Did you purchase the mesh storage basket for the stroller? Where?

I have been looking on strollers4less at the Chicco Caddy. Would it be suitable for a 13 month old? Does it recline enough for her to sleep in?

If you are a member of BJ's Wholesale they have the Chicco stroller. Usually their prices can't be beat.

After looking at the Chico, McClaren, Peg Prego we went with the Graco Citilite for one reason. It reclines far enough back for our daughter to sleep. I highly recommend it for the price.

We went to Disney in the beginning of Feb and right before that I bought the best stroller. I found it at a baby consignment shop. An Aprica lightweight. The basket was fairly small but it held a sweater and purse and little drop ins. My DD is almost 5, 43 pounds and 44 inches tall. This stroller carried her like a champ. The best part is that Apricas are tri-folds bending twice in the middle and will stand on its own. Super easy getting on and off busses. Fully reclines and great sun hood. Attached a cup holder and stroller bag and we were ready to go. We are going back at least 3 more time this year (we live in miami) and I will bring this every time. Figures my DD is almost 5 before I find the perfect baby stroller.(LOL) Dont rule out consignmnet stores to find the more expensive stroller that may have everything you want. The newest model of this stroller sells 200-300 but I got this for $35. so happy. Good Luck.
