I need some help!!!!

My BIL just found out he will be attending a conference next week in Floriday. Where will he be??? At the Swan and Dolphin!!!! I'm so jealous and yet at the same time I'm happy for him (well, a little I guess).

He has NEVER been to WDW!! And furthermore, knows nothing about it!!!

I'm not sure how many evenings he will be there but since he's a little, ahem, frugal (OK, totally cheap), I don't see him spending a lot of money!! I just saw on the S/D website that he can purchase 2-day after 2:00 pm tickets for $69.34.

I need help sending him to the appropriate parks and what to help him see. He said he would probably be in meetings until about 5 o'clock. I figured one evening in Epcot and one in MGM. He will be by himself, so no kids to worry about!!

Can anyone help me out??? He told me to "map him out a plan"

I NEED SOME PLANS!!!!

P.S. This could be very important because if he loves it while he's there he may influence my sister and soon I'll get to have the whole family at WDW!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

hmmm mapping out a plan for a reluctant adult, sounds like fun -- not really! What does he like, rides or not? In Epcot we love to get a beer at the Rose and Crown, listen to the British Invasion and catch King Arthur's players, but we are big Monty Python/Beatles fan. He might just think it is silly?! I would have him explore World Showcase, take a spin on Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Universe of Energy, The Land.

MGM -- eat at Brown Derby or Mama Melrose's, maybe Prime Time if he has a good sense of humor. Do TOT, RNR, Backlot Tour, Indiana Jones, Disney Animation, Muppets and Fantasmic.

Yes, the convention planners also may be offering cheaper priced
tickets for a later entry time.
He's so close to Epcot that he's got to walk through the World Showcase if he has any teeny tiny travel bug within him!! It's my favorite place to go when I'm solo. Also, tell him he MUST try Test Track, it's waaaaay too much fun (not a roller coaster, just a fast ride).

(The World Showcase is open until 9, then he can see Illuminations and take a leisurely stroll back along the Boardwalk to S & D. It's an easy 15 minute walk. I just did it in February.)

The second park I enjoy solo is Disney MGM Studios but because
I love the thrill rides there and the shows. It's been open until 9 also.

Tell him to pick up a few maps of those parks and check them out
during the boring business sessions :) :) ;) !!!!

Flying down TOMORROW for 3 nights at the Beach Club Villas !!

World Showcase is a definate that seems "okay" to do for a reluctant adult. I like the ideas of grabbing park maps and browsing them during the sessions that may not be the most fun :)

WDW can be a bit overwhelming if you have never been there and you are alone.
