I have only been to DW twice in my life (both as an adult, I know I am deprived) once in Sept. and once last Dec. Obviously both times were off-season and not crowded. Now that our DS will be in school this fall we are planning to go back next June as soon as school lets out. Need help with onsite vs offsite. How crowded are the parks? Will we need onsite for the EMH to see more? If you have stayed offsite, where would you recommend for 3 adults (taking my mom for her 1st trip) and one child? The first time we stayed at Holiday Inn Maingate East (just me and DH) and last Dec. we took the plunge and stayed at AKL. (Loved it!) We have to be on a budget, but I don't know if I could do the AS resort after going deluxe, but maybe a moderate. Any suggestions?

I'm a huge fan of the Marriott Grand Vista.

It's off site but it's really only 10 mintues or so from disney and only 2-5 minutes if that, from Sea World. The rooms are nice. Great pools. Great services and the people are really friendly.

As far as going in June as opposed to when you've gone before. Just be prepared. It's going to be HOT! Go to the dollar store, buy the fans, buy the mister water bottles. They sell them there but for $5 and 10 and $15. You can save some money that way. Others use a wet neck thingy to stay cool. Be sure to bring sun screen, hats, etc. It is sunny. It is hot. Be sure to give all hotel information to the child to put into their pocket or somewhere safe in case you get seperated. That way they can go to a Disney employee and ask for help.

Umm... If i think of more, I'll let ya know.
