Help needed on doing both FT Wilderness and the Lodge?

I would like to divide my stay and do both before our cruise. We would like to stay in the cabins for the first few days then transfer to the lodge and won't have a car. Now here's what i need to know will Disney transfer my luggage from the cabin to the lodge? Thanks for your help as i'm sure i'm not the first to try this.

Yes. Disney will transfer your luggage between any of it's resorts.
