Help needed on California Weather

What are the average monthly temperatures in California please?

We are very tempted to book our next holiday there as we would like to go to DLC.

Also what months do you go to DLC?

(I have posted on the DLC forum as well but am not getting much feedback)

Keep in mind that in certain areas there is "fog season." At least that was what we used to call it when I was growing up in Santa Barbara. Basically end of May well into June, sometimes all of June, it is foggy all day. Then suddenly at 3:00 it clears up.

Probably wouldn't be an issue in Anaheim, but depending on where you were planning to go you might want to take that into consideration.

Also, it rarely rains in the summer, rains a lot in the winter.

I've been in January, February, May, and November. My favorite time was November because of the weather and the Christmas festivities. May was getting a little warm but wasn't too bad. April would probably be great weather-wise, but you'll probably run into spring break crowds. An advantage of going in the summer is more things are open / fewer refurbs.

Those can be really pretty times to go. Beware of Santa Ana winds though! LOL! California really does have seasons, you know, they're just kind of different.

It can be very warm in Sept. and Oct., but as long as you dress appropriately you should be okay. Hey, at least its a dry heat, right?
