Ok, I live in Charlotte, NC and the weather for Sunday is a high of mid 80's and low of 57 degrees. There's a concert that I really want to go to Sunday night and it is going to be outside. It's a chill band, they don't typically get really loud and crazy. I have a 3 1/2 month old and would like for it to be her first concert (even though I know she won't remember it at all.) My question is, should I take her with me or is she too young?

My husband may not go, so he could stay at home with her. I still haven't felt the need to go anywhere without her for more than an hour or so. It will likely be a full 4 hours without her. The nights here have been pretty cool, but it's pretty late at night or even into the morning hours before we hit our low temp.

I live in NC too. I say if you dress her right. Just make sure it isn't to windy, then I wouldn't take her. She should be fine.

I was thinking her stroller/infant carrier can block out pretty much anything. I also would find the spot furthest from the speakers. I can't really handle the thump, thump of the amps myself anymore. I feel so old!

I live in Charlotte, too! I say take her. When my kids were that age, if things got too loud/exciting for them, they just went to sleep. Congrats on the little one!

Thanks for the advice. I figure the concert can't get much louder than church does sometimes! I swear every Sunday they crank the volume a little more. Where in Charlotte are you? I'm actually in Indian Trail, but no one knows where that is.
