Has anyone ever been? What is it like, and is one day enough?? Or do you need 2 days? TIA!!!

Hi! We go each year because were only an hour away. Wonderland is lots of fun and one day has been enough for us! Not sure whether you have little ones or not, but my little ones love Hanna Barbara land which is the area of the park designed for the little ones. This is where you will find Dora Diego Scooby Doo etc. and there are little rides and games and also they have free shows throughout the day. This area closes a little bit earlier than the rest of the park so we make sure we get that done early. Were usually done that in a couple of hours though. The lines in the kiddie areas are short. The lines in the rest of the park are LONG so I would figure out which rides you really want to do and do those first. There are some fun shows to watch that will get you out of the heat. Ummm lets see what else...oh the waterpark. There is a BIG waterpark you could spend hours in there wave pools kiddie pools water slides etc. We usually just stick to the park though we find we have just enough time to enjoy the park when we go. Have a great time!!! :)

We personally like Wonderland - we have season's passes as it is only an hour and a half away from us. . . It is all about the rides there no spectacular theming or details like Disney . . . And one day is enough to do most everything as long as it is not super busy - When do you plan on going?

Just to add to Calnmace's post there is no longer Hanna Barbara Land the kiddie area has been re-themed as Snoopy Planet this year and is all about the Peanuts gang

We are planning on going early June this year. Would a saturday be way too crowded?? Is the water park included in admission??

Dora and Diego are gone, now replaced by Planet Snoopy. We go every year and planning on getting the season pass this year. The water park admission is included in the general admission.

The last time I was in Canada's Wonderland I was still in public school, and Scooby Doo had a Haunted Mansion-ish ride.
It was really cool at the time, but after going to WDW there's no point to ever go back there, but for a fun little outing for a day, CW isn't so bad.

We live about 15min away from Wonderland and have always had seasons pass but we are not getting one this year. We found we are just not in to it anymore
the lines are too long they need to get a fast pass system. The place just seem's run down. This year we are going to get a zoo pass. My kids love animals and the zoo pass is better value for about 140$ you get a family pass that lasts for one year.:ccat:

Our family has also decided not to do a seasons pass this year! We have had them for 5 years and I agree with the op-it is tooo crowded, run down, teenage employees with attitudes. The ganbanger issue in the parking lot last year scared me as well as the young boy being sexually assulted right in the front gate washroom as his mother waited for him outside! If you have not been, by all means it is worth the day but Disney it ain't!

Hmmm.. thank you all for your input. So you agree it is worth going to for the day? We wouldn't buy season passes as we live far away from the area, but want to check it out for one day. What are some of the best rides/attractions that shouldn't be missed!! Do they have any interesting shows/ simulation type rides or nice boat rides like Disney has?? Thanks Guys!:goodvibes

I LOVE Canada's Wonderland and wish I still lived closeby. It's definatly worth spending the day there, there is so much to do!!! We took our kids last summer (7 and 4 at the time) and they loved it there.

Wonderland is lots of fun, and if your family is big on rides, there is lots to do. BUT, it is NOT Disney - the theming is minimal, the lines are long with no "fast pass" type of options, and the staff we had interactions with could have learned quite a bit from Castmember training and attitudes. We found Disney spoiled us - we expect way too much now when we go to attractions like this. However, it is fun and worth going to, just don't expect the same type of experience.
