Help, need help on where to stay

Hi guys!

hugs and love and mouseears to everyone

Just found out we have a chance for a 5 day quick getaway in May SO the heat is on to start preparing....Here is what I have "narrowed" it down to

Coronado Springs
POFQ
Carribean Beach
OR
dare I say it on this thread a Universal Resort
mainly for the front of line access there

Really eager for your feedback....all these resorts looked really charming to me.....tell me your opinion of where to stay and why

out of the choices you listed is for Coronado Springs. It's my favorite moderate. Beautiful resort and a great pool.

My second choice would be CBR. PO has never appealed to me. But, many people on the boards claim it as their favorite. I don't like the location or the theme really. Maybe it's because I"m from the south and a southern theme, even New Orleans, doesn't appeal to me for a Disney trip.

Unless you're talking about Hawaii - that's not south - is it? Anyway, as you can tell the Poly is my favorite.

I have another idea - if you watch these boards and mousesavers.com you can get great deals on Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Not much more $$ than the moderates. I've heard about rates as low as $124 a night plus tax. I'd go that route instead of a moderate.

I would call and see which resorts you can get a discount at and decide that way. We stayed at CBR and loved it, but I don't know about the rest.

one idea is to stay at a universal resort one night, the first night
and go to US then, you can get FOL access for the day you check in and the day you check out. making it a two day adventure,
then spend the rest at disney.

If you're a AAA member, they are currently running a big promotion for the Universal resorts. You may want to look into it before you decide.
