HELP! Need birthday dinner ideas

My daughter and I are going to Disney in January for our birthdays. we have friends joining us that do not have park ticket. What restaurant would you recommend and why? DD will be 13 and is a picky eater.

"Picky eater" can mean a lot of different things. It would help if you could give examples of what your DD will and won't eat. I agree with PP - give the job to your DD to figure out where she wants to go. She's the perfect age to do her own planning.

Oh and you do need an adr. It’s late booking. Cancellations do happen. If your first choice is not available, keep checking. Even day before and day of.

She is a carnivore.... potato, rice, etc. she loves a good filet...won’t order chicken, pork or seafood. She is not adventurous at all.

I would consider California Grill. They have a good filet and the view from the restaurant is stunning. Definitely a "special occasion" restaurant.

I'd recommend Grand Floridian Cafe. This was one of the best meals we had on our last trip. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. My husband loved the NY Strip Steak. We walked around the resort afterwards and took pictures. GF has great fireworks viewing or you could also walk over to the Poly and enjoy some of their offerings ( maybe a Dole Whip dessert...)
