Help-My Son Traded Away A Hat for A Worthless Teleporter

My son who is seven traded his baseball cap and a ned pin to some girl who then traded him only one teleporter. He didn't understand they are supposed to come in pairs. Even though I told him not to trade with anyone unless I was with him.

Anyway I placed the teleporter in his room to see where it came out and it comes up in someone else's room. What should I do? Is there anything I can do? I also told him he now has to try to get 500 credits to get that hat back. He told me he traded it because it was still available to buy. But he has no credits.

Does the room belong to the guest that traded it to him? If so, you should be able to report the trade to VMK who may be able to do something to help your son. If it is a different guest, you might want to see if he/she knows anything about it.

yes, the person on the other end of the teleporter has a worthless one as well, regardless of who it is. i would try and find that person and either get them to give you the other teleporter, or give them the teleporter for a hat and pin.

I have an extra hat and ned pin for your son, if he wants to find me in vmk.

Thank you so much for the kind offers. I will let you know if we can get back on. Is there anything you need let me know. I know he doesn't have much because he sold anything extra he had for credits. He also bought all these crates yesterday to give up in a trade and then I walked in on him and he exited the trade. Well today the crates were gone and he said he sold them. He didn't realized either that he didn't get what he paid for them. I knew he didn't need those crates.

My son did the same thing, but he's older and should have known better not to trade for teleporters. He ended up with 2 useless teleporters. He got 2 coffins, but they were not linked together. I have a worthless teleporter too. It a jungle cruise one. A friend gave it to me to link our rooms together, then she gave the other to someone else weeks later. By any chance is it a jungle cruise teleporter? If so we should see if it works with mine....it's a small world, you never know.
