A little background. A long time ago I sold a dress to a women on ebay. I was honest in my description of the dress and had included a picture in my listing. I had offered free shipping and her grand total for the auction was $3. She left me a negative feedback without attempting to email me for a refund or anything. Prior to the sale we had emailed back and forth a bit on a friendly level. I was shocked. She ruined my 100% with a negative saying she was disappointed in the quality of the dress for 3 bucks!!???!?! I now live with 99.2% while she goes onto have 100%. She only buys and has never sold anything. I mostly sell which I think is a bit tougher than buying.

I had never left anyone a negative feedback and I was really hesitant to leave her one. I just didn't want to so I put it off. I would write one and then back out of it. Well 90 days went by and that was that. Now I am finding I can leave feedback for her even after all of this time. It would really make me feel better to ruin her 100%. Everytime I log onto Ebay I think of her. She ruined my 100% for no good reason. I am really honest and generous when selling on ebay.

So help me write my negative feedback please............ :furious:

That would burn my cookies too.

I've seen plenty of negative feedbacks that state something to the effect: "left negative fb w/o contact first to resolve." Or you could state, "item was as exactly as described, disappointed with buyer leaving neg fb."

That does stink like dog poo...

I'm thinking here...I do agree with what the pp stated - but combine them maybe "item as desc. no contact from buyer after auction. undeserved neg f/b given"

Sorry - not sure how many characters you can have...

HTH

I've seen sellers dispute negative feedback. I would look into that too because then anyone looking at your feedback will see your explanation of the negative.

That's okay, my wife just sold a like new (like worn a couple times) kids jacket to someone for .99. With shipping it was a little over $5. Everything we sell is in excellent condition yet this lady just emailed us to critique the 'seams' and a pull on a patch. Okay, it's a really nice kids jacket you got for 99 cents. sheesh.

Anyway, I would write something like "Didn't contact before left negative feedback. Be careful!"

First, I would respond to the feedback she left you. I would say "Would have worked with her 100% had she communicated a problem"

and then I would give her this feedback "Sellers beware, buyer leaves undeserved bad fb with zero communication"

I am waiting for that day to come. It is inevitable. I am a really honest ebay seller, I am honest and thorough when listing, I always give a total refund when applicable (even when I probably shouldn't) and I still know...it will happen.

Some people are just unreasonable and think nothing of giving bad feedback without even trying to work it out. And there is nothing you can do about it. I have already decided though, I will respond to any negative feedback. I think it is really important to at least give your side of the story.

:wave2: I hope the link and corrections I PM'ed you will work for you.

It does burn me up when buyers or sellers are unreasonable. :furious:

I would do it quickly. Sometimes the feedback window goes a little past 90 days. Once that window closes you cannot leave her feedback. You can follow up on her feedback by leaving a comment, but you cannot change her feedback score at that point.

I'm afraid I'm too late. It's just to far past the 90 day window. I'll just have to sit back and wait for her to become a seller I guess. :surfweb:

At least respnd to her her Neg. in your feedback. Say something like you are puzzled by the neg. sionce buyer never contacted you.

I agree - and this would make you appear to be the "bigger" person, rather than someone who is only leaving a neg as revenge.. When I see a neg on someone I don't automatically assume they are a bad seller.. How they respond to it says more to me than the neg itself.. ;)
