I have searched for some detailed answers with no success, so I will hope one of you veterans can help me out. The details of my trip are that I have 2.5 park days available over Labor Day (Fri. Sat. 1/2 day Sun.), I am trying to see as much as possible while also being a complete cheapskate.

1. I have read many places that it is completely doable to walk from the intersection of I-Drive and Universal Blvd., but is this safe as well? Is there sidewalk on Universal Blvd. going over I-4 or is it some ridiculous gravel shoulder with a thousand cars flying past you? How about making the walk in the dark after the late Blue Man showing? Is this a mugging or car crash waiting to happen? I have no concern for distance or tiredness, we are young and in great shape.

2. A couple different IOA touring plans have you crossing from Jurassic Park to Lost Continent - does the line for HP prevent you from doing this and force you to go all the way around the lake? I read there is a path from the back of the discover center in JP that goes right to Lost Continent - is this still there even after the HP construction? Can you use this to get around the HP logjam?

3. Does the refillable cup they offer have a clip to carry it around for those of us not using backpacks/purses? Can I use the same cup for all three days? Am I allowed to take this on each ride with me? I would like the savings on drink refills but do not want to fight with the cost/time of getting a locker for just a cup.

4. Do the parks allow you to ask for just a free cup of ice water from the food service areas like Disney and Cedar Fair parks do?

Thanks for your help!

There is a separate walkway across the bridge so you are safe from traffic and then a sidewalk once on property. I-Drive isn't the safest place as far as crime but there are lots of people walking so you won't be alone in the dark.

You can still cross the bridge between the two.

There is not a clip but if you have a belt or a lanyard, you can loop it through the handle. You can use the same cup and just pay refill price.

4. Do the parks allow you to ask for just a free cup of ice water from the food service areas like Disney and Cedar Fair parks do?

Yes, they offer free ice water.

Can you give me more details on the JP path? For some reason I'm drawing a complete blank.

Thanks!
