I'm not understanding this. When I purchase park-hoppers for DL, it says:

"Bonus tickets include one Magic Morning admission for early entry into selected attractions at Disneyland Park before the Park opens to the public on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday."

Does that mean I only get one day out of all of the days on our ticket that we can get into the parks early? Isn't that silly?

It's not silly, since, well, that's how it's intended to work? :confused3
Yes, you get one Magic Morning entry with the special bonus tickets, so you can choose whichever day works best for your touring schedule of the days it's offered

The only way to get more than one Magic Morning entry is to stay at an on-site hotel, in which case you will be allowed to go every day it's offered.

Since your sig says "Disney's Grand Californian...July 2012!" I think you'll be covered, MM-wise. You'll get it each day it's offered during your stay (including check in and check out days, if either or both of those are MM days) just because of staying at the Grand. What sort of admission you have doesn't matter, if you have that onsite hotel key to show as they scan your admission!

When you go for the MM, be sure you line up at a gate where the entrance says "Magic Morning". The MM crowd can grow fast. It's nice to get in early and see a few things before the day really begins.

Yep!! On site hotel guests can enter for every Magic Morning, so don't worry. The last 2 times though we've had someone in front of us trying to scam the CM in some way and get in when they weren't allowed to...happy to report the CMs didn't cave and the people finally left the line after holding everyone up of course.

DH and I are not morning people, so the one time we hauled ourselves out of bed to get to the MM we were disappointed in how few rides were actually open for the MM. It's great for families who want to avoid the crowds in Fantasyland, but we were hoping MM included all the grownup rides.

Even tho we stay on=site, we'd rather just sleep late and enjoy the comfy beds at the hotel. And you probably already figured out that we aren't commando-style DIS people either.

Thanks for clearing this up. We are staying at the Grand so I know we'll be taking advantage of the MM days.

Actually, I think the concept of adding a Magic Morning onto a 3+ day parkhopper ticket is very generous. At WDW you can only participate in the early entry/late hours if you are a resort guest. If you stay off property, you never have access to these special hours.

So in other words, DL is letting you into Magic Morning even if you're not staying at a DIsney hotel. I'd say that's something to be happy about!
