Okay - Here is the situation!!!

I have a room only Ressie for CBR for 3-13-08 to 3-21-08. I was going to stay in value, but just couldn't do it. I am so uncertain.

Anyway - the way it stands - CBR with dining and tixs will be 4083.95
Value with same will be $3546.41 with refrigerator money included (must have a fridge.)

Last time we went to Disney, I got a Great upgrade to AKL from CSR just before we went. I really want to stay in the MOD, but want a better rate... (don't we all, right).

So, should I book the value in hopes that I get something to upgrade or stay in the moderate and wait to have the discount come??? Am I more likely to get the discount in a value than already being in the moderate?

Also, how long can I play the waiting game before I should add the package? I am a little unsure of my flight times, because I may want to loose the thursday night if I can get cheap Friday Morning flights.

Please help me!!!! Thanks!!!!!

I wouldn't count on the upgrade. If you get it great, but how many people are never offered an upgrade. I would just stick with the mod ressie if it is that important to stay at a mod. (IMO it is worth the extra money.)

Thank you for your response. I maybe should rephrase my question. I am not looking for Disney to upgrade me, more like there would be a sale/code that sort of thing and I would be able to upgrade myself back to a mod for a similar price. This is how we stayed at a Deluxe for Christmas, I got a package for only $200 more than the mod and jumped to upgrade.

My fear is that I am already booked in a mod, would I be able to take advantage of the discount?
Thanks again.

If a code came out as long as a room was available you could use it. It shouldn't matter where you have a room booked now.

When you go would you have your heart set on a certain value or moderate? I think both the Pop and the PoR are the most popular in their respective categories. In turn those discounted rooms tend to book up faster. So if you had your heart set on one of those 2 Id say book it and hope that a code comes out.

Otherwise I'd say book a value and if a code comes out then change to a moderate. Not having a preference on which value or moderate increases your chance for a discount rate.
