Help me simplify booking trip with 3 contracts

Please help me find the best way to book this trip.

We want to book a 315pt room at BRV for June 2023 (10th-17th)

What we have:
April 2023 65 points BRV, April 2024 50 to borrow April 2023 75 points SSR (same member number as above), April 2024 75 to borrow
October 2023 76 AKV points
October 2023 150 Poly points I prefer not to use for this trip

So at 7 months do I book the first 6 nights for 267 points using all the BRV and SSR points and would need to buy 2 one time use points which would involve calling member services. Then at 7 months book the last night using the AKV points? Or is there a better way I’m not seeing.

Since you own BRV, you could just book the 12th to the 17th now. Then at 7 months from the 10th, book with the AKV points for that night....and on the 11th, call MS to buy the OTU points to add that night to what you can book now.

Since you have two memberships, this is going to be two different reservations, regardless, so using the AKV for the night of the 10th, gets you to secure that first.

But, you can also do it your way. Both ways will work

We only have 115 BRV points to use (65, plus borrowing 50) so I would only have enough to book two nights right now.

You could transfer the October AKV points you need to your April membership so that the stay can be booked under one membership number. I would book what you can now with your BRV points first and then add on the remaining days at 7 months with the other contracts

That won’t work because transferred points retain their UY

October 2023 points would need to be borrowed for a trip in June 2023 and once transferred they can not be borrowed.

We only have 115 BRV points to use (65, plus borrowing 50) so I would only have enough to book two nights right now.

Sorry, I read the second April set as BRV too. Missed they were SSR

Looks like you just need to wait for the 7 month window to do it all.

We just decided to cancel a January trip we had planned so that put 72 Oct 2022 AKV points back so I’ll be able to transfer these and then book at 7 months.

Now a slightly new question, do transferred points like these (different resort and use year) need to be booked by member services? That’s what we’ve done in the past but wasn’t sure if anything has changed to allow us to see/use those without having to call once transferred.

You have to call or chat to have those transferred to your April UY.

But once you are booking at 7 months or less, transferred points can be used online.

The contract that holds them will show up as an option when you are booking the room.

Thank you!! I haven’t used transferred points since that was an option. I’m on hold with member services now to transfer.
