Help me remember Candlelight Processional Dining Package Lunch?

It seems to me that I remember doing the Candlelight Processional Dining Package at Lunchtime one year? Was that because it was cheaper? Also, did it get you into the first show? How long did they offer this lunch for? And for extra credit, does anyone know why this (the CP Package being offered at lunch) was discontinued?

Well, my ressie is 12:35 at Le Cellier so lunch. Price is the same regardless of whether you are scheduled for lunch or dinner.

I think the fixed price is the difference. I also recall lunch and dinner being different prices at one time. Shoot I remember when they actually offered CP packages at breakfast at Ale and Compass!

I’m sure they went to prix fixe because it was a way bigger money maker… right in keeping with the new Disney motto “why charge less if you can get more” lol

I have a 12:55 ADR (lunch) at GG with a 7:00 showtime. When I booked on the morning the CP dining packages dropped there was availability for all shows at restaurants that offered lunch times.

I have an 11:30 GG lunch and an 8:30 showtime. I booked the day ADRs opened up.

I think this was back in the day when lunch prices were actually cheaper than dinner prices (I have this crazy idea that way back in the 80s, we also did a couple Early Bird dinners).
