I was just ironing my husband coaches shirt for the the football game today, and I touched the iron to a letter on the tshirt- now there is color on the white part of the tshirt.-- Is there any way I can fix it- please say yes.

You could try washing it with oxyclean but I found sometimes red dye runs with it. Good luck!

I don't really know.

You might try hydrogen peroxide, or bleach.

Make sure you use something small to put either one on, and make sure if you use both to rinse it in between.

You might want to wait for someone that has experience with this though.

Goodluck.

I wish I could help you. Hope you get it out, nothing like making amistake and ruining a piece of clothes. :(

I have done this as well. It can easily (and carefully) be scraped off with your finger nail. Good luck.

I would try carefully applying bleach to the white part only, with something like a Q-tip or squirt bottle. I'd start with a bleach solution about 50% water, so that you don't accidently make a hole in the shirt, but increase it until it actually works.

Just a thought, haven't tried this. If it is a piece of melted letter that was moved with the iron to another part of the shirt, you might try putting a piece of plain cloth (diaper or rag) over the area and iron it to see if the heat lifts it off the shirt to the rag.

Good luck.
