The biggest change if you are in a 2BR vs a studio is definitely the washer/dryer. What does this mean? You can bring MUCH less clothing than you would typically for a one week stay. Having the washer/dryer in the villa makes it very easy to keep up with the laundry, freshen up clothes, etc.Can anyone offer advice for what to bring for a 2 BR villa vacation that would be different from a normal packing list (if we were just staying in a regular hotel room or even a DVC studio)?
If you brew your own coffee, bring enough coffee filters for the number of pots you think you'll make. The standard basket-style filters should suffice. It seems like a small concern, but it's just one more thing you'd have to buy if you get groceries while in Orlando, and if you're like I am, every penny counts on a Disney trip!
Yes, this is the kind of information I am looking for. What about toiletries, do we get an initial round of shampoo/conditioner?
Is there a DVD player? Should be we bring a few of our favorites for dd2 to watch during "down time"
What else?
Salt and Pepper
Ok...this is all great info! We probably won't cook...but would do breakfast and coffee. We'll do a grocery trip when we get down there for some basics- soda, creamer, decent coffee, etc.
We're flying, but renting a car when we get there.....
How many loads of laundry might I do in a week (with two small children and two grandparents...and me and dh, of course)?
No charge for DVC members renting videos, guess it's not renting if there is no charge, you get the idea. Toiletries are not replenished as they are in a hotel, you'll need to bring your own or buy some at tourist prices, same with coffee filters mentioned before around $3.00 for a small pack I pay .99 for 100 at home. If you have a car there is plenty of shopping close by or you can use one of the grocery services you'll find on this board. Prices are much better than Disney stores. I always buy the disney coffee and a matching cup, little collection, I have them lined up in kitchen, thought I had them all but then they came out with a new flavor coffee. You'll also want some bath oil or bubble bath (not to much) for the tub in master bedroom. Wine you'll have to buy when you get there, with the new carry on restrictions. Previous post was right it's real hard to go back to a studio.Yes, this is the kind of information I am looking for. What about toiletries, do we get an initial round of shampoo/conditioner?

Thereis 1 in the 1 bedroom, never stayed in a 2 bdr don't know if you get another one.I supppose this is as good a place as any to ask:
In the 1BR and 2BR villas...are there any pitchers? You know...like to mix iced tea in?
