Help me plan my husband's post conference MK night

My husband - lucky guy - is getting to go to the Disney Institute for a business meeting with his company. He and two coworkers bought conference tickets that allow them to go to MK at 5 and will be going next Tuesday. The park closes at 11:00 that night. The two coworkers have never been to Disney before. There are plenty of fps left, except sdmt. I think they will eat quick service to not eat up their time. Fireworks are a must. They coworkers have no clue what they'd like to ride. My husband can't handle space mountain. I'm thinking plan the FPs from 5:30-6:30, 6:30-7:30, and 7:30 to 8:30. Happily ever after at 9:00. Try to catch sdmt late in the evening and home for short lines on other things. I told him he should do splash and thunder mountain and maybe pick a classic ride for the third Fp. Any thoughts on fp times and selections? Which area of the park should they hit first? Maybe adventure land for jungle cruise and pirates then head to splash and thunder? What can you accomplish in 6 hours? Thanks for any thoughts and suggestions!

If they have any interest in Peter Pan, I would FP that. If not, I would FP Jungle Cruise.

I like your idea of starting in Adventureland and working their way around to Tomorrowland (Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland). If they FP+ Peter Pan, I would make that the 3rd FP+ (with BTMRR/Splash 2nd and 3rd). If the FP+ Jungle Cruise, do that first followed by BTMRR and Splash. I like the FP+ times you've chosen.

If they are willing to splurge a little and there is availability, they may want to consider booking the HEA dessert party with Plaza Garden viewing. Good desserts and you can show up a little later than the party starts so you aren't wasting time sitting at a table. This would allow them to spend more time in the park than standing for a HEA spot.
