Hi! I am relatively new here and find alllll the info totally and wonderfully overwhelming. :cheer2:

We are going to WDW in Sept. We are staying in Windsor Hills in a condo. I will have a 4.5 year old boy and a 1.5 year old girl at the time. I want to make some ressies for character dining (I know, hurry up!!), but where? I know we want to do a breakfast, but where? My son loves all things Playhouse Disney, and Pixar. Oh, and Peter Pan. :) Any suggestions?

If you have any tips or have travelled with the ages of kids I have, please post here!! Much appreciations!

Well Hollywood Studios has a character breakfast at Hollywood and Vine. The Characters are Jojo and goliath and Leo and June from Little Einstiens...

I've also heard that Chef Mickey does one of the only character meals with Mickey..

Because you are going during the Free Dining period...you should make some reservations sooner rather than later. It's very hard to get into where you want right now...

check out www.allearsnet.com The have great dining information, shows menus and price lists. Also detailed listing for character dining.

Actually for a first timer allears is a great resource on all things Disney!

I would suggest chef mickeys for breakfast or lunch, but for breakfast I would highly suggest ohana's because the food is just SOOO GOOD!!

Welcome to the Boards! We really like Crystal Palace (very sweet and patient Pooh characters) - the buffet was really good and fresh and it is in the MK so you don't have to commute to/from anywhere, which is a huge plus w/small kids. We also did Chef Mickeys and found that really crowded, almost rushed. We also like Biergarten in Germany in Epcot...kids can be a bit loud or get up and dance w/the Oompah band!

We went last year during the free dining and did both the Hollywood and Vine and Chef Mickey's. One suggestion I was given that worked out really well for us was to make your breakfast ressies for odd times. We did "breakfast" at 11:00 at H&V. This worked out great for several reasons. First, you tend to have an easier time getting reservations (we made ours the week of our trip - a last minute decision). Also, you often end up with fewer guests so more time with the characters. Finally, in our case it just so happened that they changed from breakfast to lunch while we were there so we got to have our choice of foods. It really was brunch!

We are going in September for the first time too. I have two sons, ages 4 and 3 at the time of travel. We made breakfast ressies at Donald's Safari Breakfast at AK. I have had two friends go to Disney this spring and both raved about this breakfast. Good Luck!

If you and your children don't eat a BIG breakfast, don't waste money on the character breakfast,do it for dinner. My kids don not eat a big breakfast,so we did Chef Mickey's for dinner. It was well worth it. They were hungary and so were we.
