DH (32) and I (33) will be checking into the world on Thursday, March 8th. Our flight lands at 11:15a.m. and we are taking the Magical Express to Coronado Springs for check-in. Our plan is to go to Epcot as soon as we get our KTTK cards. We have a 2:30p.m. ADR at Chefs de France for a late lunch. If we are running ahead of schedule (the DIS experts said to allow 3 hours from the time our plane lands) we will try and check-in early at the restaurant and be seated then (if they are taking walk-ups). We currently do not have an ADR for dinner - you need to know that this is VERY UNUSUAL for me!!!! I have our plans for the entire long weekend made out down to the hour. :goodvibes So, I would love to know what you all would choose for a dinner ADR. We are not set on staying at Epcot to eat, but would like not to have to travel very far since we are only getting 1/2 day at this park. Here are our ADRs for the rest of the week so we don't duplicate:

3/8
L-Chefs de France
D-?????

3/9
B-Captains Grill
L-50's Prime Time Cafe
D-Artist Point

3/10
B-Tusker House
L-Yak & Yeti
D-'Ohana

3/11
B-Kona
L-Columbia Harbor House (Part of the MK tour we are doing)
D-Narcoossee's

3/12
B-Pepper Market (before check-out and DME to airport)

Thanks in advance for all of your suggestions!!!! :worship:

I vote Flying Fish at the Boardwalk also. If you time it right you can take a walk on the boardwalk then watch illuminations from the bridge between BW and BC.

Via Napoli looks really appealing! I'm not sure why I haven't looked at that one before? As of now I have narrowed it down between there and Flying Fish. Thank you all so so much for the suggestions - they helped greatly!!! :goodvibes

How about something that isnt full service that would be easy to walk into.
Beaches & Cream, Tangerine Cafe, Seasons, Mara

If it came down to VN or FF, I would go with FF, no question. However, after a day of traveling and a late lunch at Les Chefs, I don't know if Flying Fish or any other ADR will work well. If you are first sitting down for Les Chef's at 2:30 (provided there is no extra wait) you won't be finishing your meal until almost 3:30. Are you going to be able to first sit down for a big meal at 8:30 or 9 after a day of traveling and EC? On paper it doesn't look bad, but is it something that you can physically do? If not, I would suggest just grabbing a CS meal either around EC or back at CSR.

I also think that a 2:30 ADR may be cutting it close. Yes, you are giving it the 3 hours that most people would recommend, but that is a recommendation provided everything runs smoothly and on time. If your plane is delayed, if you have to wait at MCO, if there is traffic, etc. etc. etc. it could cut it short to that 2:30 ADR (not to mention having to walk through FW and some of WS). I would consider maybe canceling the ADR and having a light bite to hold you over until dinner (and have an earlier dinner at either Les Chef's, VN or FF).

Agreed!
But if you would rather stay in Epcot, Via Napoli is REALLY good.
