Trying to plan which parks to visit each day of our trip. 3 days with park hoppers. Not visiting AK. 7 adults and one 3.5 year old. We’ll want to visit all the big ticket rides in each park, there will always be adults with the toddler so that’s not an issue.

Dec 6-8 all day, prefer rope drop. We will park hop every day. I believe the Christmas party will be 7th and 8th if it continues historical trends. Because of that I believe we will do all day Dec 6 at MK.

I am conflicted which park to visit in the morning and to park hop to. I think one day we can rope drop MK and hop to Hollywood. Then another day maybe rope drop Epcot and hop to MK for a few hours before they kick us out for the party.

We will be staying at contemporary. We get in on the 5th but no park that day. The 9th we leave for our cruise.

Any ideas or feedback?

The only 'red flag' that comes to my mind reading your post is when you mention rope drop every day, and you mention a 3 1/2 year-old. Having experienced both at Disney, I'm not sure how rope dropping every day with a toddler might go. That might not be the best of experiences, especially if you're following that up with a cruise. But you would know the child better than me. That being said, your plans to hop MK-HS and EP-MK, and working around the parties sounds good - especially with the great location of CR. But you don't mention your plans for Genie+ or and ILLs during the trip, which will certainly improve your chances of doing the more popular attractions. One strategy is to rope-drop the first park and then stack G+/LL at the evening park on the MK-HS day. That won't work as well if you're going to MK on a night it closes earlier. But whatever schedule you work out, WDW at Christmas time followed by a cruise sounds amazing - enjoy!

I think it really depends on what you all want to do. I'd RD the parks that you have prioritized rides/attractions and whether or not you plan to purchase any iLL$ and/or G+.

I think you could easily RD MK staying at the CR so that's a no brainer but for me, the next busiest park/harder to get attractions is DHS, so it might make sense to RD DHS and not Epcot. Epcot can easily be navigated and enjoyed with out G+. I think you just need to decide what ya'll want to accomplish and go from there. The nice thing about having PH is that you can always change your minds and switch it up on the fly.

Dec 6-MK all day
Dec 7-RD MK, hop to Epcot
Dec 8- RD DHS, hop to Epcot
