Help Me Pick

I will be going to WDW again this year for New Years Eve -hopefully the rain will stay away unlike last year- Anyway, I am trying to pick from the Dolphin or All Star Sports. I alway stay at Sport, but can get a gov rate of $129 for the week between Xmas and New Years. I guess I just need a little push or convincing to pay the extra $$ to stay at the Dolphin (approx 100 with tax and fees) Help Me!!!

I vote for dolphin. its much more convenient than all star.

I've never stayed there; but I vote for the Dolphin too! Your room will be larger, and the location can't be beat!

I vote for Dolphin. I have never stayed there, but I hear that it is wonderful and you can't beat its location. Plus the $129 a night is a great rate for Dolphin.

These two resorts cannot even be compared!! If you can get that rate during the holidays, I would grab it now!

There is no comparison between the quality at the Dolphin and at the Sports...we have stayed at both..many times. We use the sports for quick trips. We use the Dolphin when we want outstanding quality/service etc.

If you can get a great rate at the Dolphin grab it now...it is a wonderful place to stay.

Good choice! You would have been looking at about a 2 hour bus ride home to All Star on NYE!

You made the best choice. Another thing I like about the Dolphin is that it's a short walk to the Boardwalk shopping/dining area. I think you can even walk to EPCOT from the Boardwalk as well.

Hello,

I'd give another vote for the Dolphin, especially at that price. I have stayed at the Swan once, and AS Sports 2x. After the last time at AS ( there were rampaging groups of Pop Warner football kids running amuck several nights in a row until 3am), I doubt I'll ever stay there again. The location of the Dolphin, coupled with the much better amenities, make it an easy decision for the minimal difference in price.
