I haven't stayed at the Epcot properties, but of all the WDW resorts we have stayed at, I found the Poly most disappointing. The rooms are very spacious, but once we were checked in, I hardly saw a CM and felt like we received almost no service or attention. The pool was crowded and had bugs in it and we don't care for the Poly restaurants because they are so backed up on the lobby that it felt like we were eating in the middle of a shopping mall. Also, you hear the "Spirit of Aloha" show---especially the drumming---quite clearly through much of the resort. The monorail is a great plus and the thing that prompted us to stay there in 2006. Being on the lagoon is also very pretty and great for fireworks. That and the fact that the Poly offers hula lessons in the lobby are the two things I like best about it. However, I suspect (and my friends tell me) that there's plenty of Disney magic at the Beach Club and the pool is to die for. Enjoy your vacation wherever you stay!
