Help me pick a resort please!

I wouldn't chance the Beach Club in January. The pool there is the major draw for us and staying there with it being too cold to use would be heartbreaking for me. Now kids, they don't care if it is twenty below zero, but I like decent temps for the most part regarding pool use.

We love Boardwalk and will be there first week of February. The boat to DHS and Epcot, opportunity to go to Epcot in the evening, since every other park closes earlier, plus lots of food and drink options with Big River Grille, ESPN Club, Abracadabrar, Beaches & Cream, Ale & Compass, etc. The boat or walk to Yacht, Beach, Swan, Dolphin for lots of entertainment, food or drink options, ice cream, bakery, etc. etc.

We rented points for a Boardwalk View studio. Great time of year to go, according to Touring Plans, I think we're going the lowest week of the year. We actually have "1" crowd days lol.

We've also stayed at the Contemporary and loved it, although the one negative to me was the number of people on the transportation and in the hotel, etc. were visiting to eat there. Elevator always crowded, etc. I'm guessing all monorail resorts have that problem.

I would say CR but since you've stayed their a couple times already it is hard to say which I would choose :l

the pros for BC: pool, more covered area for walking, home of beaches and cream, use boat to get to HS and Epcot, walking distance to Epcot
cons: could be cold (which could lead to being a total money waster), a bit bigger of a resort which means more walking

the pros for Poly: pool as well (not as cool as BC though), monorail, boat to MK, amazing food options
cons: if it is cold the theming wouldn't be as fun, a bit more expensive

I would choose Poly between the two, or if I were to pick a different resort I would suggest PORFQ or POP, they are very nice and save a bit more money:) orrrr if you wanted to splurge this vacation reallllyyy bad, the GF is a wonderful option
