Hi! We'll be going to WDW in Sept. Our group will consist of me, ds (4), and 2 friends of ours who are sisters(one is single, one is married, no kids for either.)

I would like to do a character meal for ds; and both sisters have said they would enjoy one too. So, here's what we've done on previous trips: GG at Epcot, H & V at MGM, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, and the old luau (I know, not a character meal, but it kind of is now)

I'm thinking of CP for this trip since ds is still young enough to like Pooh and friends a lot. I'm open for anything though. We're staying at BCV, and if the meal there is good I would be willing to do that!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Of course, what I really want is a Toy Story meal to appear by some miracle! ;)

The only character meal I've been to was Cindy's breakfast (it was wonderful!) but not exactly paradise for a little boy. But I concur with the Toy Story meal! My DH and I would love that.

We really enjoyed Crystal Palace last time for dinner. I thought food was excellent for buffet food-hot,fresh and a good variety. Also good for the little ones as its not just chicken nuggets. And our daughters just loved Pooh and friends. I'm feeling happy just remembering it all.

Liberty Tree is our favorite character dinner...Chef Mickey's our favorite character breakfast. Cape May breakfast was interesting as well!

I don't know why this is such a hard decision for me to make! I guess because I really only want to do 1 character meal this trip. Last time we had 3 plus the luau, and that was just too much. It seemed like we were always having to stop what we were doing to make it for a ps.

Cape May would be easiest for us since we're staying at BCV; but this may be our last year for CP before ds is too "cool":smooth: for Pooh!

We've eaten at LTT for lunch and liked it a lot. What do you think the chances for a walk up party of 4 for dinner are? We'll be there in mid Sept., so I'm not expecting it to be that crowded. I wouldn't do a walk up as my only chance for a character meal; but it would be a nice addition!

The Crystal Palace character breakfast is great! We have been going there for the past few years and it is a MUST DO on our list! The food is great, the restaurant is beautiful, and the characters are so much fun (even when you don't have kids as is the case for DH and I) We have also done dinner at Chef Mickey's and thought the food there was good, and the atmosphere fun but liked Crystal Palace better overall.

We just ate at Crystal Palace for breakfast last week. It was so good. I usually do not like buffets, but this one was very good! The characters make the rounds fairly quickly. We were there an hour and all the characters made it to our table with Piglet getting there twice. According to the CMs the parks were not very crowded, but this restaurant was full so you may want a PS if you decide to go with a more popular character meal.

You certainly can't beat LTT for dinner with the characters. Crystal Palace is excellent too, although sometimes it can get quite frantic.

Have a great time whatever you decide to do.
