Obsessing Over Our Disneymoon. One Day At A Time

Okay, so DFI and I love amusement/theme parks, although this is our first time to the world. I've been gathering ADR recommendations from various threads on here and we would love to eat at a few signature dinning restaurants. Typically when we go to other parks (Cedar Point, Six Flags, Kings Dominion, etc.) we eat a big breakfast before we go to the parks, snack thorughout the day, then eat a big dinner. We're on the DxDDP so we're thinking we can follow in this same pattern and use our snack credits during the day, maybe even pay OOP if need be, then we'll be able to use those "extra" TS credits for signature dinning. So my question is do you think that's a good plan or that we'll be starving during the day? As far as our breakfast ADR's, if possible we might get them early to mid-morning and dinner ADR's maybe around 7 or 8pm.

I hope this makes sense and TIA!

Yes - a lot of folks do two meals a day with snacking in between. I've never done the DP so I can't answer whether or not it makes sense value-wise.

DH and I twice were on the DDP (free) and that was usually what we did. We would be at the food court when it opened and use CS credits for big breakfasts. We would have a snack later on, sometimes more, OOP. We liked to eat earlier rather than later because we would run out of steam. We did not get hungry in between, but thirst was an issue.

I think you are right on.
A big early breakfast followed by a day in the Parks with snacking and an 7:3- 2 TS dinner would be my dream. I think 3 TS a day is WAY too much food and time to eat. But I think using the credits for the Signature Restaurants is a great opportunity.
Have a Wonderful Trip

This sounds like a great plan. With 3 TS and 2 snacks you can eat quite well at the world. My husband and I usually eat a TS breakfast, a h2o and pretzel during the day and then a dinner. We usually pat OOP for a few meals to get a few Signatures in. I just added up the receipts for our last few trips and each one we averaged over 140$ a day (not including alcohol), and we could have easily been on the DxDDP. You will not be hungry. In fact I always have to remind myself at lunch or breakfast to take it easy, because I want to be hungry for dinner!

Another Cedar Point Person! I love the Point! Sorry I used to live in Cleveland. Cedar Point is where I spent every waking moment of my summers.

We are doing the DxDDP plan too and honestly I just cannot picture 3TS a day. We are doing several signature places and both dinner shows and plan to do snack on some days and on some days do the Cereal snack for breakfast.

I think as long as you have your ADR's sorted out you are off for a great trip!

Thanks Becca. Yeap, we love the Point. DFI is from Detroit so that was pretty much his park too. I'm from Pittsburgh so I had Kennywood and Cedar Point.
