Zero from Nightmare Before Christmas...that's what we named our husky/shepherd mix

We do get a few "how did you pick that name" ...but lots of Disney people guessed right off where we got it.

Wow! These are all great suggestions!

We finally decided upon Merlin. We were thinking about Archimedes (after Merlin's owl in The Sword in the Stone, not the Ancient Greek Scientist) but he seemed more like a Merlin. He reminds us of the goofy, big eared Merlin from the BBC show.

Still a Disney name but one that has an added history as well.

We took him for his first hike last night.

My dog's name is Dash, named after the character Dash in The Incredibles. It has turned out to be the perfect name for him!

Ours too and the name also fits! DD got to pick him and DS named him. We got him they year it came out - I can't believe he'll be 10 this year!

Oh, and we also have another dog named Daisy and a gecko named Jiko as well. The chinchilla is Nico, but he was an already named rescue - I forgot he was in Pocahontas, still would have chosen something else.

Awww... cute! Great name. We're considering a dog within the next few months so I've been thinking of Disney names!
