Help me get from Pop Century to Whispering Canyon

I am confused. We are going to be staying at Pop Century and want to have dinner at Whispering Canyon. What is the best method of getting from one to the other? I know I have to take a bus to a park and then go from park to Whispering Canyon. Which park and what method is best to get there faster? How is waiting for bus and other transportation in the evening. This scenario is not pleasant: have to wait 15-20 min for a bus from Pop, then it takes 10 min to get to a park, then have to wait another 15-20 for transportation to Whispering, then another 10-15 min ride to actually get there. That means it takes one hour just to get there, then 1.5 hours to eat and another hour getting back. So I just wasted 3.5 hours of precious disney time for eating dinner!! Is this the way it is or are my times way off?

I also need the same route info about how to get from POP to the Ohana breakfast.

We did something similiar last year....we took our resort bus to MK and then the boat to WCC. I planned an hour travel time and we were 15 min early. I am sure there are other routes but this worked for us. We also did MK right after dinner since we were so close.

As for Ohanas we again take the boat from MK and plan it for an MK day.

We take the bus from our hotel (Pop) to Downtown Disney and then hop on the resort bus for Wilderness Lodge and vice versa on the return.

I am actually planning the same thing the first night my group is in WDW, we are staying that first night at Pop and I think we will do dinner at WCC...

I was actually thinking of splurging and haivng the group take a cab? I hear it's probaby $10 bucks...so it may be worth your time, depending on your schedule?

I would agree on two cabs. When we went from Mk to Pop, it was $12.00 (one cab) plus a tip. Taking a cab a time or two during a trip to Disney is a wonderful little treat!

Our last stay was at POP and while we loved everything about the hotel, the buses at times, were a real drag. I HIGHLY recommend you take 2 cabs. Not only are the buses unpredictable but you will be nervous the whole time about not getting there on time and leave too early and like you said, waste precious disney time. Have the front desk call for a cab in advance because they normally don't hang out at POP.

We just booked another POP vacation but this time I will be getting a rental car. For only 3 of us, it is so worth it since we will be there 5 days and trying many different restaurants and looking at the holiday lights at different resorts.
