Our 8:05am PS for Cindy's is on a non-early entry day. So we will need to get through the gates at 8:00am to make it to the podium at CINDYS for 8:05. We would like to go through security by 7:45am if possible so that we can be first in line at the turnstiles.

If we drive our car, where do we go? Do we go to the TTC and catch a monorail? Are they running at 7:30am?

Or, remind me - can we drive to MK and park there?

Should we take a taxi so we don't have to worry about parking?

Please help!

(Thanks)

This is all from reading about other's experiences, so hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

As far as I have read, you can take your car to the Ticket and Transportation Center, park, and take the Resort Loop monorail to the Magic Kingdom. Be sure to have your Priority Seating Confirmation number with you to show the monorail cast members.

If you would prefer to take a taxi, I think the procedure would still be the same, and you could take the bus back to the Boardwalk.

However, having said all that, I would think that there would be busses to get you to the Magic Kingdom, because they have resort guests who will no doubt have Cinderella reservations. Maybe someone can answer more definitively about that.

Buses to the MK start running at 7:00am daily. They will take you directly to the MK itself.

If you take a cab, or drive yourself, you can only get as far as the TTC. From there you need to walk into the TTC, and catch the resort monorail. This potentially can add up to 30 minutes onto your travel time.

Here is another option. Take a cab to the Contemporary. From there you can walk easily to the MK. You can catch a cab right outside the BW - they are usually waiting and if not the bellhop will call one. We never had to wait more than a few minutes.

This way probably has the most "control" in it for you - since the only time you are dependant on anyone else is the cab being there, and there are hundreds of cabs at Disney. You don't have to assume a bus will be there shortly after 7:00 (MK buses from the BW have a bad rap - I'm not sure I'd choose to be dependant on them for a PS), and you won't have to wait for the resort monorail to make its loop.

(The cab ride should be about $10-15)

On a non EE day doesn't the MK open at 9:00? Which means you don't have to wait for the park to open. There will be a turnstyle for you to use for Cindy's. A cast member will have a clipboard to make sure your name matches a PS.

So are you saying that since we have a rental car we could drive to the Contempory and walk to MK? So that is a better strategy than parking in the MK parking lot?

Parking at the Contemporary is limited to those who have hotel rooms at the Contemporary, or those who already have a reservation for a Contemporary restaurant. Parking at the Contemporary and going to the Magic Kingdom is not allowed.

Thanks for clarifying that for me! My hubby likes to be in control of transportation so that's why we are getting the rental. I'm looking for advice to give him when he gets frustrated in transit!!

I just posted this on another similar thread, but thought it would be helpful to you. I suggest taking the bus from BWV. We never waited more than about 15 minutes (usually less) for a bus and it always worked out great.

We just got back from DW on Friday, Nov. 14. We had reservations for CRT on Wed., Nov. 12 (a non-EMH day) at 8:10 a.m. We stayed at the BWV and were told to be at the bus stop at 7:00 a.m. to catch the first bus. The bus arrived about 7:15 a.m. and we made it to the front of the MK by 7:30 a.m. It was GREAT (except now we had to keep our DS and DD occupied for 30 minutes). That turned out not to be too difficult, as one of the CM's came to the front around 7:40 and started telling jokes until the gates opened at 8:00 a.m. We then walked straight to the castle and were seated immediately. The breakfast was WONDERFUL!! I highly recommend it and it is well worth every penny that you pay! My children loved seeing the princesses and Aladdin and the food was good. We were through and out the door by 8:50 a.m. We stood right by the exit by the doorway for the rope drop and were the first ones on Dumbo. (The only downside is that you cannot rent a stroller when you enter the park at 8:00 a.m. on a non-EMH day. So, my husband ran back down Main Street (which can be difficult with everyone else entering the park) and rented the stroller and then met us in Fantasyland. We rode Dumbo, Peter Pan, Snow White, watched Mickey's Philharmagic, Its a Small World, (Pooh was not working that morning), and the tea cups all by 9:30 with no lines. It was GREAT! We were out of Fantasy Land by 10:15. I hope you enjoy your breakfast!!!

Could tell me was that 7:15a bus to MK full? Did you have room? I'm asking because I've read all the posts about bad bus service at BWV to MK and AK and that it's better to drive or take a cab. Or get on and off at the Swan instead of BWV stop. What do you think?

The bus was not full at all. Only 2 or so other families. We were actually the only ones that got on at BWV. I would get on the bus at BWV b/c that is the last stop before the bus goes to the MK (or any other park). The bus stops at the Swan, then Dolphin, then BC, then YC (or vice versa), then BWV. So, I would definitely get on the bus at the BWV so you don't spend all the time riding around on the bus.

On the way home, however, you might want to get off at the Swan and walk across the bridge so you don't have to ride through all the other stops before you get to the BWV. We finally figured out to do this on the last day of our trip.

Hope this helps and hope your trip is MAGICAL! The breakfast is WONDERFUL!! :D
