Help me find a hotel near AS Music for one night...

We are arriving one day before our check in to All Stars Music and need a cheap hotel just for that night. We won't arrive until around 6 p.m. and will leave at 8:a.m. the next morning to check into All Stars. Can someone tell me the closest Comfort Inn, etc. to this area? I looked on maps of Hwy. 192, but it was very confusing knowing how close or not I was to the Maingate entrance into WDW. Just want something clean and not scary! Help and thanks!!!

if you are flying (and check SW prices they are pretty low right now) the I would get a hotel near the airport that has shuttles. next morning I would use the DME to get to the WDW resort.

if you are driving then I would suggest best western lakeside. black lake road is behind this place. at stop sign on black lake road turn left to Sherberth road - at the next traffic light (about a mile) turn right - you are now on Osceola Parkway. (the maps don't show this).

the All Stars are the next right (but get in the other lane - right lane quits before it gets to all star - yea I don't this either)

oh best western is on this map as

La quinta lakeside - but it has been a best western for a couple of years

it is very old - build when WDW was new.

quality inn west - just down from it - is a little newer - but both are pretty old.

Thank you, spicycat, for your help, but I'm glad I hadn't booked yet. After 2 days of he__ with our AAA agent and WDW reservations, we are back at Pop but still with our discount. What a headache this has been! So, now I'm looking for a motel near Pop! Thanks again, anyway!
