How would you explain the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot to a Disney virgin?? (well, someone who hasn't been there in over 20 years!) I know what it's all about, but how do you put it in a nutshell for someone who has no clue?? Thanks for the help!

It is like a street fair with samples (for a fee) of food, wine & desserts from different countries. Fee's range from $1.25-5.00 There are also demonstrations on cooking certian foods (some with a fee & some not). That is how I describe it to others that have never gone.

World Showcase at Epcot has lovely little themed stalls set up at each pavilion with small samples of foods and wines for purchase at each of their representative countries. There are seminars and events you can join, giving information on various food and wine related topics, and the whole of World Showcase becomes quite 'festive'.
