It's kind of food related.

I'm trying to decide if I should attend the Party for the Senses ($100 pp) or go to Cirque ($80 pp) .. can't do both this trip becuase of time and money. I keep telling myself that Cirque will always be there but I also don't drink and eat very little meat so having a hard time justifying the Party for the Senses... what do you think?

Thanks!!

Party for the Senses! I did not like Cirque at all - had there been an intermission my husband and I would have left. (Tickets were included in the Silver Plan wishes). But then again, I am not big on an evening at the theatre. It certainly was different.

We loved the party - I don't drink wine and still thought it was worth it. The food was amazing - and it is everything from main courses, appetizers, desserts and a huge cheese table. In fact they had circque performers at the party.

Thanks for the insight... can you tell me how much of the performances you actually see at the party for the senses?

I guess I'd ask the obvious...........have you done either/both in the past?

We never seemed to be able to make it to Cirque (for whatever reason) in the past........then 2 summers ago finally saw the show for the first time. My daughter (then 14) and I absolutely loved it! SHE even bought the CD.

I guess, if all else fails..............flip a coin!

At the Party for the Senses last year they had in the middle of the room, the scarves that the man hangs from and twirls around in, and the hoop that the woman suspends from, the guy on the bike and a few other characters (for lack of a better word) working the crowd.

With Party for the Senses you do get to see some acts, but at Cirque you don't get any food. I'd do Party for the Senses, I'm trying it for the first time this year, and am very excited about it.

We've done both and I'd have to vote for seeing Cirque. It's an amazing show! Absolutely breathtaking and incredible. I've taken my husband, my mom, and my sister to see it (on different trips) and they're all still raving about it years later. In fact, we loved it so much that we went to Vegas last summer - not to gamble, just to see other Cirque shows. Last December, we event took my then 20 month old to see it, and he LOVED it, too! He didn't make a peep or take his eyes off the stage the whole time. My husband asks to go back on ever trip.

Party for the senses was great too, but there are lots of other opportunities for amazing food at WDW.

I'd go for seeing the entire La Nouba show, hands down!
