Please do not flame me, but right now I have PS on May 2, at 6pm for both Rose and Crown and LeCellier. I cannot decide which one to eat at. We will be on the dining plan, so if we eat at LeCellier I plan to pay for the kids meals, and use the their table service credits for DH and I. Eating at Rose and Crown means that we will all use a table service and not have to pay out of pocket. What one should I cancel?

I really don't get all these dining plan options. Not that I don't understand the appeal, I just plain don't understand. That's why I say go with what you like the best.

I just learned on Travel Channel that, if you time it right, you can get a seat outside at Rose and Crown and watch Illuminations. If it were me, I'd go there. I haven't tried it yet, and I think Le Cellier is overrated.

Le Cellier is one of our favorites! The pretzel bread is so delicious. I had the herb crusted prime rib and it came with a veal demi glace(which is a sauce and it's SO good). My dad had the free range chicken. It was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Very very good. It came with mashed potatoes. yum! The desserts looked so wonderful but we didn't have room for dessert. Our server was so incredibly friendly. We'll be returning again this October. :goodvibes

I HIGHLY recommend Le Cellier. It's one of the best restaurants in WDW. :flower:

Those are two of my favorite restaurants in the entire park. Here's what I'd recommend (and have done quite a bit): keep both PS's. If the weather's good and the crowds seem light, head for Rose & Crown, try to request a patio seat, and stick around there to watch Illuminations (although 6pm reservation might be a bit early--we usually do 7ish). If the weather's crappy or R & C can't get you a patio table, head for LeCellier, you won't be disappointed!

As these are my two favorite restaurants at EPCOT, it's a tough choice. I got the meal plan with my package and plan to do the CP package, which includes dinner. I was thinking of doing dinner one night at Le Cellier using the meal plan, then dining at the R&C using the CP dinner package. This way I can take that meal and use it towards dinner one night at the California Grill.

Both restaurants are very good and I think it will depend on what you think you would enjoy more. Deb Will's site has complete menu's for both places. I'd take a look at these and see if there is something everyone would enjoy.

If you decide to do the R&C, plan on making a PS around 7:30pm for the 9pm Illuminations show. Stop by the desk early in the day and confirm your PS and tell them that you would like a patio table. Show up to your PS early, reconfirm your wishes for a patio table and tell them you don't mind waiting for one. This way you can enjoy a great meal ,then relax and view Illuminations over a great dessert.
