HELP me Decide!!!!

I am just about ready to pull out my hair ! I am looking for a place to stay over spring break. We love OKW but because the only time we can go is over Easter we can not do it (Wayyy to many points!). We plan on staying for 8 days. We would like to be really close to Disney, be in a condo type room, and have a resort feel. Any, Any, Any suggestions would be greatly appricated. I look at one resort and another and another.....HELP!

I just went through the same dilemma.

Traveling March 25- April 3 was far too many points for a 2br @ OKW. I transfered 80 points to a fellow Dis member for $10/pt, and rented a 3br condo in Emerald isle for 795 inclusive of taxes.

I'll miss being on property, and the Dining plan, but I saved points for a trip in December...it's alll good!

Orange Lake Resort is beautiful (but enormous). Then there are all of the Marriott Resorts....Grande Vista, Cypress Harbor, Horizons, etc. Hilton Grand Vacation Club is also very nice. They are all within an easy commute.

You will probably also get a lot of recomendations for Cypress Pointe, Windsor Hills or Windsor Palms, etc.. These are also all nice places to stay with an easy commute.

You could also check out Bonnet Creek which is "practically" onsite being next door to the Caribbean Beach Resort. (Note: it is owned by Fairfield, not Disney) But the location can't be beat!

Luckily, there are many nice places in Orlando in all different price ranges. The hardest part is just picking one.

I hope this list helps you out a little. I think you would probably be happy at anyone of these places.

What about checking HotelKingdom.com for Cypress Pointe, they have 2 and 3 bedroom units and are just a minute or 2 to Disney property. They get really good reviews here on this board.

Another suggestion would be to consider renting a pool home or condo direct. What a great chance to have tons of space to spread out. I'd look at some of the threads on this board about that also. As well as, check out sites like www.vrbo.com and www.onlinefloridavillas.com to name a few.

Agree that Winsor Palms, Windsor Hills, and Cypress Pointe can all provide suite accomodations at reasonable prices. HTH

Cypress Pointe is about 2 miles away from OKW. (and 1 mile is the DD hotels)

Vistana Resort and Vistana Villages are very close to disney property. Vistana Resort is more of a Resort atmosphere.
