Help me decide which park

Right now I have that we are going to HS on 4/8 in the morning before my husband has to go to his convention. THe kids and I had thought about going to AK after that...........but EasyWDW says HS is recommended, but not AK for that day. Then on Fri 4/10 we were going to go to Epcot in the afternoon after my husband is done with the conference, but again it says not recommended. Should I switch these two days around or will it really be ok?

Which park would your husband rather go to after the conference? You could always rope drop AK and then go to HS on the first day. What do you want to accomplish at Epcot and will you arrive with FP+ reservations or use them somewhere else? If you arrive without FP+ you can see the countries, eat and watch illuminations. Perhaps single rider line TT.

I would be concerned with the AK closing time to use that park for an afternoon visit. My preference for that park is to hit it in the morning.

I don't use crowd calendars--but if the reason they are or are not recommending parks is because crowd levels are only 1 apart (I.e. One is a 3 and the other a 4, or one is a 5 and the other is a 6), I would not worry too much.

One tool we use when staying offsite is to avoid the EMH park. When staying on site, he hit the morning EMH park first thing.
